Code of Conduct (Rules)
Generally, you may post anything written in a courteous and mature manner, providing that it is on-topic for the forum. This includes posts that disagree with the way that the developers operate the game. We won't interfere with your communication so long as the presentation is constructive and appropriate.
Section One - General Rules
1.1 - Rude, Disrespectful Comments, Harassment (1 Infraction Point)
Comments that are demeaning towards another user or group of users are unacceptable. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, personal insults and threats, racial and religious epithets, sexual orientation, real-life information and threats, and insults based on nationality. It is in your best interest to remain constructive and polite in your posts.
1.2 - Flamebaiting / Trolling (1 Infraction Point)
Trolling is defined as purposefully antagonizing another user in hopes of causing arguments or controversy. We do not allow trolling on our forums and any threads or posts that are deemed as trolling will be removed. All forum users have the right to report and ignore trolls. Please resist from feeding the trolls as it can be harmful to you.
1.3 - Spam (1 Infraction Point)
SPAM is defined as Stupid Pointless Annoying Material/Message. The re-posting of deleted content, responses in a discussion thread that are just a single image or video, and repetitive posts that serve no purpose in the thread or on the forums all fall under this category. Any user who creates a thread or post that is considered pointless or off topic will have their thread or post either closed or deleted. Repeat violators of this rule can have their posting abilities revoked or even a ban from the forums.
1.4 - Advertisement or Solicitation (1 Infraction Point)
Post that exist only to advertise or solicit for any game, person, product, or service outside the domain of Face of Mankind, Nexeon Technologies, Duplex System, and affiliated companies will be subject to removal. Users are encouraged to use the Outer Rim forum for anything not related to the above listed items.
1.5 - Inappropriate Signature, Avatar, or Profile Picture (1 Infraction Point)
Users are not permitted to use signatures, avatars, or profile pictures that are found to be in violation of the Face of Mankind Forum Rules. Violating signatures will be removed and if it is a continued issue, the user could lose their ability to have a post signature. Depending on the content of the signature, avatar, or profile picture the user may be issued increased infraction points for violating other rules.
1.6 - Out of Character Posting (1 Infraction Point)
Any and all posts within the Role Play Forums must be in-character. Repeated posts that are simply out of character (OOC) or do not use the OOC brackets "((example content))" are not allowed. Please note that while not every post has to have in-character content, if you post large walls of out of character text it will also result in an infraction as that is not contributing to the overall thread.
1.7 - Ignoring Staff Instructions (1 Infraction Point)
Users are expected to comply with requests from the Face of Mankind Staff. If you have an issue with the request, you may contact us via our official support system. Failure to comply with requests can lead to administrative actions taken against your account.
1.8 - Discussion of Administrative Actions (1 Infraction Point)
Administrative actions taken against a users account are to be kept between the user and the Face of Mankind staff. You are not allowed to discuss, display, or publish any warnings, infractions, or bans that were issued to your account or another users account. In order to dispute or discuss an action pertaining to your account, you must contact us via our official support system.
1.9 - Staff Harassment [*] (2 Infraction Points)
Comments that are demeaning towards any of the Face of Mankind, Nexeon Technologies, or Duplex System staff are unacceptable. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, personal insults and threats, racial and religious epithets, sexual orientation, real-life information and threats, and insults based on nationality.
1.10 - Impersonation [*] (2 Infraction Points)
Any user found attempting to impersonate or trying to pass themselves off as a member of the Face of Mankind staff, or another community member, can face administrative actions up to, and including, account closure.
1.11 - Pornographic Material [*] (4 Infraction Points)
Users are not allowed to post or link to anything that could be considered pornographic content. While this forum is adult oriented, we wish to keep them clean. The Face of Mankind staff, at their discretion, will decide if the posted linked or content is too exposed and can be considered pornographic.
1.12 - Extreme or Vulgar Content [*] (4 Infraction Points)
Users are not allowed to post or link to anything that could be considered extreme or vulgar content. The Face of Mankind staff, at their discretion, will decide if the posted or linked content is considered extreme or vulgar.
1.13 - Ban Evasion [*] (14 Infraction Points)
If you have been suspended from our system and evade by some means, this will result in a 14 point infraction being imposed on all of your accounts.
[*] - These infractions will not be issued as a warning on a users first offense.
Section Two - Consequences
The majority of the above listed infraction points will expire after a six (6) month period of time has passed. The exception is for anyone found in violation of the 1.13 Ban Evasion rule.
When a user accumulates a certain amount of infraction points, they will automatically be suspended from the forums. Please note even if a users infraction points expire while they are suspended, the suspension will still run its full duration. Here is how the automatic suspensions work....

Please note that if you log in with another account after one is suspended, the account will also adopt the remainder of the suspension.
Users are responsible for their accounts. Regardless of the situation, if any violations are committed by your account, even if you were not the one in control of your account, actions will still be taken. The best way to avoid this type of issue is to ensure you are use a strong password and never share your account details with anyone. If you think that your account has been compromised in any way, please contact us via our official support system as soon as possible.
We reserve the right to change these rules at anytime and without notice. We also reserve the right to take administrative actions on a user account, with or without warning, and for any reason that we see fit on a case by case basis. These rules apply to the forums, visitor wall system, group system, and the private message system. The above listed infraction point values are a basic layout of the overall system. There may be times where custom infractions are issued depending on the severity of the offense.
