I appreciate the fact that GD as hardcoded factions is being considered as a development move. The thread is gold of suggestions and comments on why GD is good for the game. It has always been great driver of content and storyline. We already know that game lacks content as it is and it fits storyline very well and would be great mechanical addition to the game. That was an increase in damage yes, but it was one based on your economic standing (could you afford to produce/use c5 weapons) and one that other players could have an impact on by killing you and taking your weapon (in some periods). Flat boosts in damage are not good, go against what was promised in the KS and do not reward skill - please instead change to a system where recoil/weight is changed by skills.
